The Best Things

One of the best things is life is to see how well others appreciate a person that is special and important to you.

I had the opportunity to tag along to one of El Profesor’s lectures today.  The sheer joy that I experienced was not just because I was able to watch him in his element (as he often is).

I also had the opportunity to watch him engage with others, to see how impressed they were to learn from him, and to have encounters with his colleagues and students who only and always speak highly of him – both professionally and personally.

That makes me genuinely happy.
